Meet our GCRP participants 2024
We’re very happy to announce the changemakers and innovators selected to take part in our Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP) 2024!
39 participants have been selected from about 8000 applications to take part in the second cross-sectoral edition of our flagship training programme – welcoming not only cultural professionals, but also participants working on creating safer societies.
They span 39 nationalities and numerous sectors. From the side of creating safer societies, we have participants engaged in fields including human rights and rights-based initiatives, social justice, inclusion, and resilience, working with marginalised groups, peacebuilding, mediation practices, dialogue, and education, and disaster resilience. Our cultural and creative sector participants work in fields such as visual arts, performing arts, music, audiovisual & cinema; they include socially engaged arts managers, filmmakers and photographers, festival directors and cultural policy officers.
During the four-day GCRP programme (25-28 November) in Marrakech, Morocco, they will share experiences and ideas, and have the opportunity to engage with professionals from another sector who are willing to contribute to a more interdisciplinary and safer world.
