Nikos Mavrakis

Nikos Mavrakis has been working on cultural management since 2014 and in international relations since 2019. He is the founder and managing director of TooFarEast, a company that is empowering the contemporary performing arts by channeling ideas around the world, initiating international projects, establishing long lasting relationships and touring great art. He is proudly collaborating with the Albanian director Mario Banushi, the Greek choreographers Patricia Apergi, Chara Kotsali and Christiana Kosiari and the Cypriot choreographer Panos Malactos. His past collaborations include creators such as Romeo Castellucci, Jochen Sandig, Sasha Waltz and Euripides Laskaridis. He completed his degree in Theatre Studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3 and holds an “MA in Events and Experience Management” from Goldsmiths University of London. He is an alumnus of the Festival Academy, a member of the international network IETM and the co-founder of OMAZ, a non-for-profit platform supporting Greek artists.
