Tanlume Enyatseng

Tanlume Enyatseng is a Journalist, Creative Director and Cultural Producer. He is the Founder and Creative Director of multidisciplinary platform and creative studio Banana Emoji. Tanlume also founded and contributes to the queer artistic collective, Banana Club and has recently been awarded Photoworks UK’s 2023/2024 Writer in Residence. In 2024 Tanlume sits as one of the prominent judges for the 6th edition of the Portrait of Humanity photography award by The British Journal of Photography. With a background rooted in journalism and contemporary art, Tanlume’s chosen work is at the intersection of art and the intimate emotional nuances of community; exploring new ways of writings that weave between our digital and physical world and investigating the boundaries between disciplines. Tanlume reimagines the cultural landscape by directing integrated campaigns and experiences for pioneering creative entrepreneurs and businesses cutting across art, culture, mining, lifestyle and entertainment. Building on his extensive experience with organisations in the corporate and culture industries, such as Stanbic Bank Botswana, Goethe Institut Johannesburg, WeTransfer, MTN Bushfire, British Council of Arts, Diamond Trading Company Botswana, Debswana Diamond Company and Nataal Media.
