Juan Ruiz

Cultural manager with extensive experience in the formulation, coordination, and management of projects in music, community culture, education, and research. I have skills in planning, directing, and controlling cultural organizations and projects that promote the guarantee and exercise of cultural rights within local communities. I have managed and implemented projects for the production, research, and promotion of Colombian musical heritage. Additionally, I have led processes and projects in knowledge management and the social appropriation of knowledge through art and culture. I am currently the Executive Director of the School of Arts and Creation at Universidad Sergio Arboleda in Bogotá, Colombia.
