Larisa Rodas

Larisa is a Central American anthropologist working as a Gender and Equality Project Officer. She currently works at Fe y Alegría, where she focuses her work on designing and executing projects with a transformative gender approach in rural communities of the country. She has dedicated her youth to feminist activism, demanding justice and demanding respect for the rights of women in all sectors of Guatemala. She has done qualitative research for the World Food Programme, in addition to a fellowship at CARE Germany, supporting the design of sustainable development projects for Zimbabwe, Egypt and Syria. She is currently also working with the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen in workshops on women’s rights, gender and diversity for the 2024 fellows of the CrossCulture Program.
