We’re very happy to announce the changemakers and innovators selected to take part in our Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP) 2024! 37 participants have been selected from about 8000 applications to take part in the second cross-sectoral edition of our flagship training programme – welcoming not only cultural professionals, but also participants working on creating safer societies. Tanlume Enyatseng 

Tanlume Enyatseng is a Journalist, Creative Director and Cultural Producer. He is the Founder and Creative Director of multidisciplinary platform and creative studio Banana Emoji. Tanlume also founded and contributes to the queer artistic collective, Banana Club and has recently been awarded Photoworks UK’s 2023/2024 Writer in Residence. In 2024 Tanlume sits as one of Tanlume Enyatseng 

Syed Jazib Ali

Syed Jazib Ali is a documentarian and impact producer dedicated to amplifying marginalised voices and advocating climate justice. His deep involvement at the intersection of climate and culture endorses the integration of cultural perspectives into climate policies. Jazib has played a pivotal role in initiatives emphasising the importance of cultural narratives in addressing climate change. With Syed Jazib Ali

Sergio Rejado Albaina

Sergio is an Environmental Biologist from Spain, specialised in environmental protection and international cooperation. Throughout his career, he has worked and lived in 11 countries in 3 continents. He is currently a Technical Advisor for the United Nations Environment Programme in Panama, overseeing the Interfaith Rainforest Initiative in Brazil, Colombia, DRC, Indonesia, and Peru. Rocío Rojas Monsalve 

Rocío Rojas Monsalve is a Chilean musical director, composer, and researcher specializing in cultural diplomacy and peacebuilding. She has participated in over 50 diplomatic missions, collaborating with the Chilean government and UNESCO to foster a culture of peace by enhancing diplomatic, artistic, and cultural connections worldwide. Phoo Myat Thwe

Phoo Myat Thwe is a curator from Myanmar with a passion for new media arts and digital humanities. Her virtual curatorial works have been featured in Art&Market and ArtAsiaPacific, with notable projects including the AR exhibition on Instagram (@re_imagine_city), presented as part of The Wrong Biennale 2023/24 and Augmented World Expo Asia (AWE 2024). Petra Matić

Petra Matić is a Croatian artist, curator, and activist whose work explores collective actions, hospitality, and anti-colonial practices. Her research focuses on the socio-political histories of the Non-Aligned Movement, and she creates welcoming spaces for displaced communities. Petra is the founder of Jutro, a cultural organization, and curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb. Petra Matić

Nikos Mavrakis

Nikos Mavrakis has been working on cultural management since 2014 and in international relations since 2019. He is the founder and managing director of TooFarEast, a company that is empowering the contemporary performing arts by channeling ideas around the world, initiating international projects, establishing long lasting relationships and touring great art. Nicholas Kwame Adjei

Nicholas Kwame Adjei is the Country Director for Future Team Ghana, where he leads projects focused on climate change, peacebuilding, dialogue facilitation, and educational initiatives for rural and marginalized communities. Minji Chun

Minji Chun is a DPhil candidate in History of Art at the University of Oxford. Interested in ways of interpreting narratives of unmentioned histories and spaces, she is currently conducting research on socially engaged art in contemporary Korea.
