EUPL at Jaipur Literature Festival

From 2 to 23 September, four European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) winning authors will participate in the Jaipur Literature Festival’s Brave New World programme. The European authors will be invited to take part in digital panels with renowned Indian writers, journalists, and opinion makers. This initiative is organised by the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF), in collaboration with the Cultural Relations EUPL at Jaipur Literature Festival

Cultural and Creative Industries Supporting Activities in Sub-Saharan Africa

In the framework of ifa’s Research Programme “Culture and Foreign Policy, Pedro Affonso Ivo Franco and Kimani Njogu developed a study on cultural and creative industries (CCIs) in Sub-Saharan Africa. The report offers an inventory of CCIs activities financed or implemented by the European Union and European countries’ cultural institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa. Artists Abroad: i-Portunus the EU’s First Mobility Scheme for Culture

i-Portunus Final Report The i-Portunus grants supported 337 artists to travel abroad and engage with international audiences.
