The EU at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2018: Press review
The European Union sucessfully attended the New Delhi World Book Fair from 6 to 14 January 2018. the Book Fair attracted 1,3 million of visitors and reached as much people online. As the EU was the Guest of Honor, over 20 European publishing houses were in New Delhi, as well as many European authors (including 5 European Union Prize for Literature winners) and illustrators. All these actors had the chance to present some of the highlights of the Book Fair at the EU’s pavilion, including:
- Lazy Sunday of Literatures, featuring 12 authors from 9 European countries,
- Writing Workshops with EULP winners,
- Comics for Beginners: a crash course in creating comics.

For the future, the Ambassador of the EU to India Tomasz Kozlowski encourages the EU Member States to participate to the New Delhi Book World Fair on an annual basis.
