Elizabeth Ponte, GCLP 2016

Elizabeth Ponte was a participant of the 1st Edition of the Global Cultural Leadership Programme.

Elizabeth is a Brazilian cultural manager, researcher, and consultant. She is the Vice-chair of the Brazilian Association of Social Cultural Organizations (ABRAOSC) and Associate Researcher at the Observatory of Creative Economy of Bahia – Brazil (OBEC-BA). Previously, she was Institutional Director of NEOJIBA Program (Centers for Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Bahia) (2010 -2018) and German Chancellor Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2018/2019). In Germany, as guest researcher of the Institute of Arts and Media Management in Hamburg (KMM Hamburg), she developed the project Quality for Culture (www.qualityforculture.org). Since 2020, she has been working in Brazil as an organizational consultant, researcher and facilitator in several training programs, workshops, and webinars.
