Introducing “Diálogos teatrales: dramaturgia de la Unión Europea, escena Argentina”

The Delegation of the European Union to Argentina, with the support of the Cultural Relations Platform and in collaboration with the Complejo Teatral de Buenos Aires, the Escuela Metropolitana de Arte Dramático (EMAD), presents the cycle “Diálogos teatrales: dramaturgia de la Unión Europea, escena Argentina” (EN: ‘Theatrical dialogues: European Union dramaturgy, Argentinean stage’)— a space for creation and exchange that fosters artistic encounters between contemporary European playwriting and the Argentine stage.
Five plays by authors from Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, Germany, and Poland will be presented in semi-staged formats at Teatro San Martín, with direction and staging by local artists. These presentations open a space for creative dialogue, international cooperation, and future collaborations.

In addition to the performances, the cycle will feature a special program of workshops, discussions, and roundtables focused on contemporary playwriting, translation and adaptation processes, and theatre management models in the EU and Argentina.
