Saurabh Narang
Saurabh (b. 1986, Delhi) is an Indian visual storyteller based in Germany. He is interested in documenting unique communities, cultures, and sustainable projects. His work has appeared in festivals, publications, and exhibitions internationally. Saurabh’s long term project, #IndiaUnexplored, portrays Incredible Indian culture and human environmental conflict from the world’s highest village in the Spiti Valley to an African community living in the Western Ghats for more than 500 years. He has won numerous international awards, the most recent being the Manufactum Staatspreis NRW 2023 for his multimedia art project #SunflowersWillStillGrow about Ukrainian culture in Germany.
