George Platt

With a background in chemistry and environmental science, George currently serves in the government of Northern Ireland’s graduate programme for future civil service leaders. With the modern-day state of Northern Ireland being only 25 years old, George is motivated towards strengthening the region’s young political and governance structures to fulfil their potential and to see Northern Ireland develop as an advanced, peace-building nation on the world stage. Having previously lived and worked in Mongolia, Ukraine and South Korea, George finds international partnerships immensely rewarding and is delighted to build further connections through the Global Cultural Relations Programme.
