Echo Tang

Tang Xuedan (Echo) is currently a Berlin-based film curator and arts manager from Chengdu, China. She obtained her Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural management in London and used to work as documentary producer in China. Three key words in her life are: explore, create, connect. In 2021, she was admitted to the German Chancellor Fellowship and moved to Berlin, where she initiated film curation collective CiLENS and Indie Chinese Cinema Week (ICCW), reflecting the intersection of her strong interest and ongoing research in cinema studies, feminism, and socially engaged practices.
