Daniela Da Costa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Specialization in Energy & Environment from the University of Calgary, Canada and a Master’s Degree in Architectural Projects, Environmental Design & New Technologies from the University of Malaga, Spain. She is Director & Consultant at Gauss International Consulting Inc., providing technical and capacity-building support to countries worldwide in climate policy under the UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement. She is a member of the UNFCCC Roster of Experts for the technical review of GHG inventories, has experience with Canadian Climate Philanthropy, and actively conducts published research on green building retrofit strategies.
