Bethany Copsey

Bethany is a soil scientist and creative practitioner with a particular interest in wetlands and peatlands. She co-founded the collective RE-PEAT which connects narrative change, creative intervention, community building, and campaigning with peatlands. Following her graduation in Soils and Global Change earlier in 2023, Bethany is taking the course Planetary Poetics at Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. This MA connects global social ecologies and tries to explore and intervene with the climate and ecological crises. She grew up in New Zealand and now lives in the Netherlands.
