Xiangling Chen, GCRP 2022

Passionate about cultural diversity, Xiangling Chen works as an Associate Programme Specialist at UNESCO World Heritage Centre, coordinating capacity-building projects in the Africa region to enhance the representativity of the World Heritage List and strengthen the implementation of the World Heritage Convention. Before joining UNESCO, she worked at UN-Habitat in Nairobi, Kenya where she fell in love with the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region. Xiangling holds a bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University in China and a master’s degree in Communications, Media and Creative Industries from Sciences Po Paris in France.
