Sepehr is an agent, curator, festival maker, and researcher. He started his career in performing arts as a creative writer, puppeteer, clown, and mime. At 24, he co-founded the first international theatre agency in Iran, aiming to facilitate the cultural exchange between Iran and the International performing arts scene. His work experience encompasses project coordination, artistic programming, and advisement with several international festivals and organizations spanning BOZAR, The Festival Academy, IETM, Tehran contemporary music festival, and the Fadjr theatre festival. Since the beginning of the pandemic, He has co-founded several independent and alternative projects including the Re-connect online performance festival, the International Alliance of Producers, agents, and distributors -PADA- (A network specifically to connect performing arts distributors around the world), and the first online showcase of contemporary Iranian theatre, New Narratives.
