Kristine Milere, GCRP 2022

Kristine is an exhibition curator at the Art Museum RIGA BOURSE, the Foreign Art Department of the Latvian National Museum of Art. She is responsible for all the cooperations with Asia at the museum. Kristine works with the projects of the research of the Asian art collection and with the creation of cultural context-based stories for the objects. She also curates exhibitions and organizes events and projects to promote cross-cultural understanding. Kristine is currently doing her PhD in theory of culture at the Latvian Academy of Culture with a thesis on the representation issues of the Asian art collection of the Latvian National Museum of Art.
