Tatiana Mouarbes, GCRP 2021
Tatiana Mouarbes is an Acting Program Officer for the Culture and Art/Middle East North Africa (MENA) programme at Open Society Foundations. She is a curator and grantmaker focused on supporting artists working at the intersection of arts and social change. Since joining Open Society Foundations in 2016, Tatiana has organised and helped launch diverse global initiatives centered on providing holistic support to artists and cultural activists around the world, including the Soros Arts Fellowship program and the Art at Open Society public program series. As a curator, her research centers on the intersections of politics, identity, and geography in contemporary art practices from the MENA region. Tatiana is a 2019-2020 Interdisciplinary Art and Theory Program Fellow.
