Tanja Gavrilovic grew up in Bosnia, Montenegro and Serbia, and is currently based in Novi Sad. Passionate about arts and literature, she graduated in General Literature in Belgrade and earned a double master’s degree in European Literary Cultures as an Erasmus Mundus scholarship holder. For the last ten years she has been working for the French Institute in Serbia, first as the Culture and Communications Officer in Novi Sad, and later as the coordinator of the Southeastern European Performing Arts Network Teatroskop. When she is not thinking about the next regional cooperation project, she enjoys discovering new authors and translating French comic books to Serbo-Croatian.
