Shiya Lu, GCRP 2021

Shiya Lu is a Chinese-born artist and creative producer based in Sydney and the Founder of Flying House Assembly, an artist-led initiative dedicated to cross-cultural collaborations. Shiya has worked for many renowned organisations including Shaun Parker & Company (Australia), Ibsen International (Norway), Ergao Dance (China), Helsinki Festival (Finland), and the Festival Academy (Belgium). She is a Dalyell Scholar at the University of Sydney (Art History and Visual Arts), and she will soon begin a master’s degree in Visualisation, Simulation and Immersive Design at the University of New South Wales.
