Sumaiya Alwahaibi, GCRP 2021

Sumaiya Alwahaibi is a PhD researcher in Politics. She is the host of the CreativeMornings Muscat Chapter. She has worked with more than four civil society organizations in Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Poland, and Cyprus to improve educational opportunities for refugees and children in remote villages. Recently, she was chosen as a Gender Innovation Agora 2021- Young Leader by UN Women. She was also part of a national research team that mapped the reality of services provided to the youth sector, and the trends of its governance, in preparation for the development of the first Youth National Strategy in the Sultanate.
