Elyse Tonna is a curator and cultural manager with a background in Cultural Heritage Management and Architecture. Her curatorial practice is primarily related to contemporary art practice, context-specific art and community projects. Since 2020, she has been the Curator and Co-Creative Director of the Gabriel Caruana Foundation where she curates exhibitions related to the SPRING programme for Emerging Artists and the Gabriel Caruana Foundation Archives. She is a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Forum and participated in the UNESCO European and International Youth Fora. She is also very interested in cultural policy and strategy, and environment-related initiatives.
