Safir – Youth in Action

Safir project is supporting youth and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 9 countries across Northern Africa and the Middle East.

Safir supports more than 1,000 young project leaders involved in entrepreneurial projects with social, cultural and environmental impact, the development of a regional network of organisations supporting social entrepreneurship, and the creation of spaces for dialogue between youth and governmental authorities.

Safir is a 4-year EU-funded project implemented by Institut Français, CFI – dévelopements médias, Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, Arab NGO Network for Development, Labess, and Pitchworthy. The project is implemented under the framework of the Youth and Culture programme developed by DG NEAR.
