EU4Culture programme – Eastern Europe
EU4Culture programme aims to strengthen the links between culture, economic growth and the promotion of intercultural dialogue and experiences in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries. It will focus on cooperation on cultural heritage, intercultural dialogue for peaceful inter-community relations, on new innovative creative industries, regional cultural markets, and cultural associations and intermediary institutions.
The project is implemented by cultural institutes of the EU, i.e. Goethe Institut e.V. (Lead), Czech Centres, Danish Cultural Institute and Institut Français. It runs from 2021 to 2024 with a budget of €7.85 million.
This action follows the previous EU-Eastern Partnership Culture and Creativy Programme which was implemented between 2015-2018.
The Eastern Partnership (EaP) is a joint policy initiative which aims to deepen and strengthen relations between the European Union (EU), its Member States and its six Eastern neighbours: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
