26-29/06/2019: EUNIC Siena Cultural Relations Forum
Bridging Theory and Practice. A European Strategic Approach to International Cultural Relations: The state of the art.
From 26 to 29 June, the last and final conference of the Crew Project will take place at the University of Siena, Italy. Organised in partnership with EUNIC Global, this event will be the the second Siena Cultural Relations Forum.
This conference will conclude the conferences’ series of the Crew Project:
- Supporting culture as an engine for sustainable social and economic development in the EU Neighborhood South, which was held in Rabat, Morocco, on 21-22 February 2018;
- Reinforcing cooperation on cultural heritage in the EU Neighborhood South, which was held in London, UK, on 22-23 October 2018;
- Promoting culture and inter-cultural dialogue for peaceful inter-community relations, which was held in Stuttgart, Germany, on 25-26 April 2019.
The final conference in Sienna will gather cultural relations policy makers and practitioners together with academics and researchers in an attempt to bridge the gaps between the theory, policy and practice of the EU’s international cultural relations.
