Trisha Taylor

Based in Washington, D.C., Trisha Taylor has a background in arts education, program management, and relationship building. In her position as Assistant Director of Education at Washington Performing Arts, she manages a global and cultural education initiative, the Embassy Adoption Program, in partnership with D.C. Public Schools. The 44-year-old program matches over 80 embassies and global partners with classrooms for a year of learning about the history, culture, arts, and traditions of the classroom’s partner country. Trisha also works with local and visiting artists, as well as with other organizations, to create meaningful opportunities for arts and global experiences for D.C. area youth. Trisha has a Master of Arts in arts management and Bachelor of Music Education with a minor in business administration.
