Ségolène Pruvot is a Cultural Director of European Alternatives (www.euroalter.com) and has been coordinating TRANSEUROPA Festival since 2010 (www.transeuropafestival.eu) . She believes that the future of Europe can only be built in one integrates cultural and artistic perspectives as well as political and economic considerations. Ségolène was trained as a political scientist and urban planner in France, the UK and Germany. At EA, she has developed an extensive experience in designing and implementing transnational cultural programmes and stimulating volunteers groups around Europe. Ségolène is interested in thematics such as democracy, equality, feminism, migrants & minority rights in Europe. Ségolène is also passionate about the city, public space and the urban environment and is currently a PhD-candidate in urban sociology at University of Milano Bicocca working on cultural spaces, art activities, and their potential social impact.
