Anastasia Skvortsova

Anastasia Skvortsova is a curator and educator. She graduated from the Russian State Academy of Fine Arts (2010) and received her Master’s degree in Curatorial Studies from Bard College department of Saint Petersburg State University (2014). Her work experience spans from running an independent art space (Nepokorennye open studio) to management in established institutions (Moscow Biennale for Contemporary art). In her curatorial practice she focuses on public and social engaged art, participatory practices and site specific projects. Anastasia is a laureate of the EUNIC award for young curators (2013). Anastasia curated dozens of exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Her recent shows were held in Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Poppositions art fair in Brussels and Goethe Institute in Sofia. Anastasia collaborates with Art Prospect international public art festival organized by CEC Arts Link, which encourages civil activity of local communities with art. Since 2019 Anastasia works for State Hermitage museum, Educational department.
