Ana Alexieva

Ana Alexieva is cultural manager and documentary film producer based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Part of Fine Acts, a global nonprofit exploring the intersection of human rights, art and technology and its potential to instigate social change (fineacts.co). Ana started her career as film producer in AGITPROP and project operations manager of Balkan Documentary Center. She graduated in Media and Gender studies from the Bochum University in Germany, and Utrecht University. Ana holds diplomas in European Documentary Production from EURODOC, and in Audiovisual Entrepreneurship from EAVE. Current vice-curator of the Global Shapers Sofia Hub of the World Economic Forum. Fellow of Stiftung Mercator and of YTILI (Young Transatlantic Innovation Leadership Initiative), a program of the US State Department. Founder of “Your Future” – the one of its kind youth forum in her hometown Svilengrad. Included in the renowned selection “30 under 30” of Forbes, in category “Social Entrepreneurship”.
