Amanda Shatzko

Amanda Shatzko is an internationally recognized leader in creativity, cultural diplomacy, and community development. For twelve years, she was a professional artist and director and is now an elected government official. She advises governments, corporations, education systems, and some of the world’s leading cultural organizations. A charismatic authority, she has received numerous awards, including recognition as Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women, and a Multicultural Community Champion. Amanda believes the world needs great art and great artists to expand our consciousness, drive conversation, and open dialogue around complex issues we face – socially, politically and ecologically. She lives in the Okanagan Valley and Vancouver, BC, Canada.
