Hillary Brady, GCLP 2017

Hillary Brady was a participant in the 2017 edition of the Global Cultural Leadership Programme.

Hillary is interested in digital outreach and open access for cultural heritage institutions, which has been at the core of her work in museums and archives. She is currently the Outreach Coordinator for the Smithsonian Institution Archives, where she helps share the story of the Smithsonian with the public–through digital campaigns, crowdsourcing projects, and blogging, among a variety of other projects. Prior to the Smithsonian, Hillary worked for the Digital Public Library of America. She collaborated with museums, libraries, and archives across the globe to create digital exhibitions and materials for K-12 educators. Hillary received her bachelor’s degrees from the University of Rhode Island and her master’s degree from Brown University.
