Belisa Rodrigues, GCLP 2017
Belisa Rodrigues was a participant in the 2017 edition of the Global Cultural Leadership Programme.
Belisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts, (diploma in marketing), and Master of Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. For several years, she was Business Manager of the African Arts Institute and the General Manager of the Arterial Network – a Pan-African arts advocacy organisation in 40 African countries. She was Programme Co-ordinator of the African Cultural Leadership Programme with 200 leaders and partners in Senegal, Morocco, Kenya, and Cameroon. Belisa currently serves on several boards in various roles: Treasurer of the Music in Africa Foundation, Manager of a leadership programme at UCT, and Director of her arts consultancy, Belle and Co., where she focuses on research, policy and training in the arts. Ms. Rodrigues is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow.
