Gabriela Escatell, GCLP 2017
Gabriela Escatell was a participant in the 2017 edition of the Global Cultural Leadership Program.
Gabriela Escatel is a Mexican actress, scenic creator, production and cultural manager for the performing arts. She has her bachelor’s degree in international relations, and master’s degree in management and international cultural cooperation from the University of Barcelona. Gabriela currently works as a Scenic Venues Chief at the Ministry of Culture of Jalisco, Mexico, where she leads the operation and programming and curator of five theater venues in Jalisco (including Teatro Degollado, one of the most important neoclassical theaters in Mexico). As an independent cultural manager, she leads and founded International Bonding Agency for the Performing Arts: LIGA specializing in international mobility issues, offering services as a scenic curator, programmer, producer and designer of scenic programs as festivals, residences, cultural exchanges, cycles and enriching audiences’ actions.
