28/02/2017 Launch of UK-India 2017 Year of Culture
The British Council, the Indian High Commission and the UK government have officially launched the UK-India Year of Culture which will see cultural events, exhibitions and activities taking place in both countries throughout 2017.
The Year of Culture includes programmes celebrating India’s heritage and contemporary culture with events across the UK developed by the Indian High Commission in London and the British Council. On the other hand, a programme of cultural events and activities is organised by the British Council throughout India.
