Raphaël Julien, GCLP 2016

Raphaël Julien was a participant of the 1st Edition of the Global Cultural Leadership Programme.

Graduated in 2012 from a Master in Cultural project management, Raphaël started my career in Marseille in the NGO Eurocircle that carries out transnational projects in the field of youth, interculturality and non formal education. Today, he is managing the cultural department of Eurocircle, developing international cultural projects. Raphaël is particularly interested on develoing projects and events in the public space. He likes to work close to citizens and make arts accessible to everyone and believes that the audience development in terms of diversity must be a priority for artistic projects in order to deal with contemporary issues.

“This experience in Malta, among brilliant cultural managers, has provided me new insights for international collaboration projects. The involvement and engagement of the participants in their local community as well at the international level was impressive. One sentence will stayed in my mind: “Think and act glocal!” “

In order to introduce themselves and their organisations, the participants prepared a poster presenting 4 elements – Me, My organisation, My Project and My Dream.
