Sarah Grosman, GCLP 2016
Sarah E.R. Grosman was a participant of the 1st Edition of the Global Cultural Leadership Programme.
Sarah is the lead program officer for Community Programs at Turtle Bay Music School in New York City. Prior to this, she was a founding staff member and community organizer for Public Works, the groundbreaking participatory theater program at The Public Theater. She also works with organizations of many mediums (dance, music, comedy, contemporary art, theater, international NGOs) on the creation, development, and promotion of meaningful arts programming across the globe. As a theater director, she has worked at Shakespeare in the Park, LaMama, The Foundry, Intiman, The Old Globe, 5th Ave. Theater, and New York University. Sarah is a graduate of Cornish College, for whom she is a National Advisory Councilmember and a member of the Lincoln Center Theater 2011 Directors Lab.

It was inspirational and galvanizing to see such solidarity from people across the globe coming together to ask similar questions, troubleshoot similar problems, and share similar desires to work toward a future where the arts and culture are birthright of everyone.”
In order to introduce themselves and their organisations, the participants prepared a poster presenting 4 elements – Me, My organisation, My Project and My Dream.
