Chuan Li, GCLP 2016
Chuan Li was a participant of the 1st Edition of the Global Cultural Leadership Programme.
Chuan LI is a doctoral researcher and Asian project manager at the Research Unit for Economics of Culture and Tourism (Econcult) at the University of Valencia. His current research focuses on the collaboration and innovation in arts and cultural organisations. Besides, most of his work life also has been dedicated to Sino-European exchange and collaboration among scholars, universities and the cultural sectors through some joint projects supported by EU H2020 programme and China´s one belt one road initiatives.
“As the first initiative to connect young cultural leaders from different parts of the world with a particular emphasis on third world countries, the GCLP not only expanded my professional networks, but also widened my perspective on cultural leadership and cultural diplomacy, inspiring me to rethink of its implication in Asian context.”
In order to introduce themselves and their organisations, the participants prepared a poster presenting 4 elements – Me, My organisation, My Project and My Dream.
