Feasibility study on European film festivals abroad
At the end of 2015, the European Commission requested a feasibility study to explore different options to support Delegations of the European Union in organising European film festivals all over the world. European film festivals provide a unique opportunity for European films to reach audiences in third countries and they are important tools to promote the image of a creative Europe abroad as well as to foster mutual understanding between cultures. Professionalization is pivotal for EUFFs to fulfil their cultural, trade and diplomatic potential.
