A strategy for EU-China cultural relations

In 2012 the European Commission set up a group of experts, in charge of developing a first strategic approach to cultural relations with non-EU countries, using China as a test case.

The expert group worked on identifying the areas where the added value of initiatives and cooperation at EU level can contribute to supporting or complementing Member States’ initiatives. The recommendations of this expert group are compiled in this report.
