Sumaiya Alwahaibi is a PhD researcher in Politics. She is the host of the CreativeMornings Muscat Chapter. She has worked with more than four civil society organizations in Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Poland, and Cyprus to improve educational opportunities for refugees and children in remote villages. Hellen Almoustafa, GCRP 2021

Cultural heritage expert, Hellen Almoustafa holds a PhD in Ancient Near-Eastern Archaeology from University of Sapienza (Rome). She has many years of research and work experience in fields related to tangible and intangible heritage, museums, world heritage sites, cultural tourism development, UNESCO programmes and conventions, fundraising in addition to archaeological preservation. Taghreed Almadani, GCRP 2021

Taghreed Almadani is a young aspiring artist and writer from Saudi Arabia. She was born and raised in Jeddah, a city located in the west coast of the Kingdom. She completed her bachelor’s degree in mass communication majoring in journalism from the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Mohammed Al-Jaberi, GCRP 2021

Mohammed Al-Jaberi is the Programme and Communication Officer of the EU-funded Cash for Work Project at the UNESCO Regional Office for the GCC and Yemen. Besides his day job, Mohammed is an awarded filmmaker focusing on stories from/about Yemen. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Politics from Georgetown University and is currently concluding his master’s degree in Mohammed Al-Jaberi, GCRP 2021

Sparsh Ahuja, GCRP 2021

Sparsh Ahuja is a documentary filmmaker and the founder of Project Dastaan, a peacebuilding venture connecting 1947 Partition witnesses from India and Pakistan to their ancestral homes via virtual reality. He is a 2020 National Geographic Explorer, the youngest-ever recipient of the CatchLight Fellowship, a 2021 Webby Nominee, and has been shortlisted for the Alexia Sparsh Ahuja, GCRP 2021

Elyse Tonna, GCRP 2021

Elyse Tonna is a curator and cultural manager with a background in Cultural Heritage Management and Architecture. Her curatorial practice is primarily related to contemporary art practice, context-specific art and community projects. Tessa Nijdam is an Amsterdam-based project manager and business development consultant working in the arts & culture industries. With a particular focus on music events, installations and artist residencies, she has worked in 20+ countries and is strongly committed to international collaboration and co-creation.
